Day 01: Welcome Typical Dinner

Arrival to Madeira Island. Welcome at the airport by a local guide (will give a typical neckless made with sweets and a typical flower form Madeira) Transfer to the Hotel in Funchal - Quinta Casa Branca Set within extensive gardens of various subtropical trees and a banana plantation, Quinta da Casa Branca features a boutique hotel and an elegant manor house and offers a heated pool and rooms with garden views. There is a spa room and two restaurants at the property. Free WiFi access, tea and coffee making facilities and a private balcony or terrace overlooking the gardens are available in all accommodations. Each of the private bathrooms is comfortably equipped with a hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers. The Health Club is equipped with a fitness training room, sauna, steam bath, hot tub and a relaxation room. The Phytocéane Spa room offers massages and beauty treatments. This restaurant is located just 15 minutes away from Funchal and serves delicious typical country food (the famous "espetada") Return to your hotel.

Day 02: Madeira Cook Experience - Funchal City Tour

09h30 – Departure from your hotel to Armazém do Mercado, to discover the exotic and fresh produce that make the cuisine of Madeira, make a visit to the colourful and perfumed farmers’ market (Mercado dos Lavradores), choose some products to cook them after, and there will be time left to taste what you cooked. A truly delicious experience. Afterwards you will leave for a walk exploring some of the towns’ must-see spots: an embroidery factory that supplies royalty around Europe, a traditional grocery where locals purchase traditional spices Mercearia do Bento), a secret biscuit shop in Funchal - Fábrica Santo Antonio, a wine cellar where you will taste our very own Madeira wine and the Handicraft Shop where you can find traditional craft, with a genuine character, created by the artisans of Madeira. Return to your hotel. Dinner free

Day 03: Sunset by Jeep - Lunch at Quinta do Furao

No one likes to get up early on vacation for no good reason. But watching the sunrise in the mountains of Madeira is a wonderfull experience that you should not miss! Departure by jeep 2hours before the sunrise in direction of Pico do Arieiro. A private and simple breakfast will be served after the sunrise, in the mountains. Continue in jeep until Ribeiro Frio (small walk until balcoes - 45 min and very easy ). Return to the jeep and off road until Santana (known for its thatched roofs). Lunch at Quinta do Furao - Open since 1993, the restaurant has an indoor and outdoor area with an outstanding view of the sea and mountain. Indoors, the rustic ambience, big windows and two enormous fireplaces give a special welcome to guests. Outside, there is a sheltered veranda and another area where you can opt to have your meal in the sunshine. The menu offers a balanced blend of typical Madeira gastronomy and international cuisine, tending to use organic and local products. Return to the hotel after lunch. Sunrise Jeep Madeira

Day 04: Sunset by Boat - Dinner Onboard

Ending the day with a swim and a toast at sunset is a unique experience in Madeira, an unmissable natural phenomenon! Departure from hotel to the pier of Funchal. Delicious trip along the coast - stop for a swim. And a delicious dinner while you watch the magnificent sunset! Return to the hotel

Day 05: Calheta - Ponta do Sol - Lunch at Faja dos Padres - Cabo Girão

09h00 – Departure from your hotel for a tour that will take you to the southwest of the Island, to visit Ponta do Sol and Calheta. Here you’ll visit one of the few remaining sugar cane factories still manufacturing sugar cane brandy and honey and taste the traditional honey cake with poncha. Next stop is Fajã dos Padres, a small piece of land at the bottom of a 250m cliff, accessed by a cable car. This peculiar location gives this agriculture property a unique climate allowing the culture of several produces impossible to thrive anywhere else in the island. Lunch will be served at the property’s restaurant and you will have the opportunity to taste the locally grown products. On the way back to Funchal there will be time to stop at Cabo Girão, one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe at 580m with a recently built glass skywalk. Return to your hotel. Dinner free

Day 06: Camaro de Lobos - Eira do Serrado - Monte - Toboggan Ride - Lunch at the Marina

09h00 – Departure from your hotel towards the typical fishing town of Câmara de Lobos where Sir Winston Churchill used to paint. Next you go up towards the mountains into Eira do serrado. This viewpoint stands 1094 mts above Curral das Freiras and offers astounding views of the surrounding mountains. Next stop is Monte, a quaint town best known for its beautiful church and the luscious gardens. To end a perfect day, you just must try the adrenalin pumping sledge ride-this means sitting on wicker toboggan that glides on wooden runners, steered by two men in rubber-soled boots acting as human brakes and ensuring you don’t run off course during the 10-minute ride. Pure fun! The tour ends at Funchal ́s Marina with a delicious lunch.

Day 07: Tour to the West Part of the Island - Wine Tasting at Terras do Avô - Lunch in Porto Moniz

09h00 – departure from the hotel. First stop Ribeira Brava. Then up to Paul da Serra, passing by Ponta do Sol and Canhas. Then in the plateau of Paul da Serra, initiating the descent though Fanal (Laurisilva forest) until the belvedere of Ribeira da Janela. Wine taste at Terras do Avô in Seixal (producers of Madeira table wine). Continuation until Porto Moniz - On the northwest coast a village well known for its volcanic swimming pools. Stop for lunch at cosy restaurant situated over the swimming pools. After lunch return to Funchal by Sao Vicente and Encumeada

Day 08: Farewell Dinner at Galaxia Sky Food

Departure from your hotel for a farewell dinner at Restaurant Galaxia Sky Food Above the Palace and over the Ocean, a constellation of flavours from all around the globe. Wonderfull view over the city of Funchal. Amazing food! The perfect place to say good to Madeira.

Day 09: Bye Bye Madeira!

Free day to walk around Funchal or to buy that last souvenirs: a bottle of Madeira, exquisite embroidery or a delicious honey cake. Transfer from hotel to the airport End of our services.
